The nose is clean, honest, sensitive and very complex. Ripe red fruit stand on an elegant background of vanilla, tofes, cedar and spices. The palate is elegant, large and complex. On first impression is fresh and fruity with well balanced acidity with sweet tannins and alcohol. Long aftertaste, nice and silky. This wine is powerful yet elegant.

Wine Making:
The wine is named after Bernat Oller a descendant of Arnau Oller, a PhD of theology and author of many awarded Carmelite works in the 14th century. The fruit is from a vineyard with clay and sand soils and is harvested by hand. The wine undergoes fermentation occurs, is left on the skins for a 10 day maceration with frequent pump-over. It is drained to tank without pressing and clarified with egg albumin before being barrel aged in (50% new) French oak for 18 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered and left to age in bottle for a minimum of 6 months before being released.
