Wine Making:
Tocai Friulano is a variety with a long history in the Friuli region and is an emblematic Friulian wine. It has derived some notoriety in recent years resulting from the dispute with Hungarian winegrowers who want to monopolize the name Tocai (Hungarian spelt: Tokaji). The wine is a cuvee between two Tocai Friulano: 60% from a hilly vineyard and 40% from a 70 year old historical vineyard where 3 biotypes of Tocai Friulano are bred in our own winery.
